Overview

SRMJEEE, also known as the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination, is an entrance exam conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University).     • Minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology),
    • In addition to the above, any Candidate qualified in IIT JEE Main/SAT will be admitted directly even if the candidate doesn’t take SRMJEEE.

WBJEE

Aspirants should have passed the class 12th examination from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates must have adequate proficiency in English.
Aspirants should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.

VITEEE

Overview

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology every year for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BTech) of participating institutes. Every year, VITEEE is held to enroll students in various undergraduate courses. Around two lakh students apply for VITEEE every year.

Why VITEEE ?

All the eligible candidates will be offered admission to B. Tech programmes at VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amravati. Since 2018, the university is also offering admission to BDes (Industrial Design) through VITEEE. The number of seats and the mode of selection is purely at the discretion of the management.

Eligibillity
  • Applicants for admission must be either a Resident Indian, Non-Resident Indian, or PIO Holder.

  • Candidates appearing for the VITEEE 2022 must have completed or will be appearing in 2022 for one of the following qualifying examinations:

  • Final examination of the Class 12 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi), or ISCE (Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi)

  • Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University

  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva

  • General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level

  • As per VIT Norms, regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are also eligible for VITEEE. They should provide the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.

JEE

Overview

Joint Admission Examination is the name of the Indian entrance exam. They are the computer-based exams that the NTA (National Testing Agency) administers to applicants for undergraduate engineering programmes at prestigious Indian engineering institutes. Overview

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institute of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on Behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education Government of India.

Why GATE ?

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India entrance examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidate in various UG subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and PG subjects in science.
GATE exam is conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test (CBT)) at various centers spread in different cities across India, as well as, in multiple cities outside India. The GATE exam centers comprise eight zonal centers under which various cities are listed where national level engineering postgraduate entrance exam is conducted. Moreover, candidates should be aware that GATE exam scores are valid for three years only from the date of announcement of the results.

Eligibillity

Candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or has already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Commerce / Science / Arts is eligible for appearing in the GATE.
