NEET

Overview

One of the important entrance exams held in India is the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). In India, passing this exam serves as the prerequisite for admission to the MBBS and BDS programmes. Any student who has earned their +2 must pass the NEET exams in order to pursue a profession in medicine. The National Testing Agency, which is required to do so by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, oversees and conducts the NEET exams. The test, which is currently the only entrance exam for the medical field, superseded the old medical entrance exam All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT). The exam serves as the starting point for future careers in medicine, dentistry, AYUSH, and veterinary medicine.

The National Eligibility and Admission Test, or NEET, is the only and most desired medical entrance exam for applicants to all types of undergraduate medical programmes in medical schools in India and overseas. This requirement is applicable to both private and public medical schools in the nation.

Eligibillity

Candidates should be 12th passed. The minimum age limit is 17 years old. It is notable that general category students much have average marks not less than 50% and students belonging from OBC/ST/SC must have average marks not less than 40%.
