Educational institutions, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private companies offer Scholarships for Olympiad exams. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded to the top-performing students. The international organizers offer handsome rewards and scholarship as per their norms. Some of the prestigious foundations offering scholarships are-

• International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO): Scholarship of $15,000 per year is offered by The Clay Mathematics Institute to the bright students with a gold medal in IMO. University of Cambridge in the UK and the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters also offer scholarships to IMO medalists.
• International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) – The University of Warsaw, Poland and The University of Toronto, Canada offer scholarships to physics medalists. The American Association of Physics Teachers also offers scholarships to US students who participate in the IPhO.
• International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) – IChO medalists gets benefit by the Royal Society of Chemistry in the UK. Apart from this, universities like the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and the National University of Singapore also offer scholarships to IChO medalists.
• International Biology Olympiad (IBO) – The University of Wrocław, Poland bears full tuition and accommodation fee to IBO gold medalists. The University of Cambridge, UK also grants scholarship as per its regulations.
• International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) – The National University of Singapore offers a scholarship of up to SGD 30,000 per year to IOI gold medalists. Other universities and organizations may also offer scholarships to IOI medalists, depending on the country and the level of competition.
