1- Candidate should secure 60% marks in 10+2.
2- For ST/SC/PWD minimum marks are 55%.
3- Compulsory subjects are physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics.

The Common University Entrance Test is being introduced for admission into all UG Programs in all Central Universities for academic session 2022-23 under the Ministry of Education, (MoE).

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities. A single examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities.

Students will need to have passed Class 12 from a recognized board in science stream to take admission to bachelor’s degree programs in the Central Universities.
For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50 per cent in Class 12, for SC/ST, candidates need to have secured a minimum of 45 per cent in Class 12 in order to be eligible for the CUET 2022. For BTech programs, the minimum aggregate for the General category candidates is 45 per cent and that of the reserved category candidates is 40 per cent.
