RRB Group D Exam

Overview

The RRB is a national-level exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on behalf of the Railway Recruitment Cells (RRC) in India to recruit candidates for various posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. It is an excellent career opportunity for candidate who possesses Class 10 and wish to serve in the Indian Railways. Some common posts offered by this exam are-

  1. Track Maintainer Grade-IV
  2. Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and S&T departments)
  3. Assistant Pointsman
  4. Level-I posts in other departments of Indian Railways.
Eligibillity
    • Candidate must have cleared10th class (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board or institution. However, candidates who have completed higher educational qualifications may also apply.
    • Applicants who are between the ages of 18 and 33 may apply. The relaxation for reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC is provided as per government norms.

Exam Patterns

The Exam has 3 phases:

  • Phase I Computer-Based Examination (CBT): Comprises multiple-choice questions including Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness and Current Affairs.
  • Phase II Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Physical fitness of candidate is tested through tasks such as lifting and carrying weights, running, and other physical activities.
  • Verification of Documents and Medical Examination.

RRB NTPC

Overview

The RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) in India. RRB Paramedical Staff Exam

Overview

The RRB Paramedical staff exam by the Railway Recruitment Board is conducted for paramedical staff positions such as nutritionist, dental hygienist, optometrist, Health and Malaria Inspector, Pharmacist, ECG Technician, Lab Assistant, Lab Superintendent, and so on through this recruitment.

RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Exam

Overview

The RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) is a national-level exam conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) to employ candidates on the post of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician for various zones of Railway across the country. The main job of Assistant Loco Pilots is to assist the Loco Pilot (Driver) in driving and maintaining locomotives. RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories Exam

Overview

RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Exam
